A fine and rare pair of 18th century flintlock duelling pistols by Wogdon, London. Wogdon was the most famous maker of duelling pistols in Georgian England and this pair date from some of his early work with the silver mounts marked for the silversmith John King. They retain traces of the original bluing to the barrels and the trigger guards, good walnut stocks with the traditional chequering to the grips.
