A highly decorative early 19th century Flemish cabinet with landscape marquetry to the large panels and the interior drawers with amusing scenes of cats. standing on the original barley twist legs with a fitted secretaire drawer. Ebonised ripple moldings and fine choice of woods throughout.
The right hand door inside is inscribed "from the sale at Alton Towers, Lord Shewsbury 1857"
