A fine example of an 18th century silver pair cased pocket watch, the gilt fusee verge movement signed J Wilders, London

No. 35725, and with squared baluster pillars. The enamel dial with a painted scene of Jacob's ladder to the centre and gilt hands.

Wilder was known for producing fine quality silver pocket watches in the last quarter of the 18th century
