A two day marine chronometer in the original brass bound mahogany case.

Purchased by the Admiralty in 1895, it was 27th in the annual trial of chronometers at the Royal Observatory, Greenwich

It is listed as having a non magnetic white metal balance and spring, and a rare non-ferrous detent.

it was serving on a number of ships from 1895 until 1948 including

HMS Jupiter
