An early 19th century horizontal sundial by Cary London and dated 1807. This 15' diameter bronze sundial is finely engraved and has a 16 point compass rose. It was made for Sir George Mackenzie's shooting lodge at Coul in Scotland and is set for latitude 57'33 . It stands on the original sand stone balaster shaped plinth.
