John Wyke and Thomas Green were successful craftsmen and manufacturers in the small but highly specialised and prominent clockmaking trade of Lancashire, England. John Wyke famously published a Catalogue of Tools, which shows the implements that were commercially available for clock and watch makers in the eighteenth century, is the earliest known representation of horological tools in catalgoue form.
