A superb example of 19th century turning and ivory carving, the flowers are so fine it is amazing that they have survived. This was almost certainly made by Thomas Staight who is listed as a Ivory turner working 1829-1860, and is from the same collection as the ivory engine turned porter type dial which is named and also illustrated on our website.
