An early George III period mahogany bureau bookcase. The drawer fronts and fall butt veneered in fine veneers, the fall opens to reveal a well fitted interior. The gazed top section has a superb broken arch pediment with dog tooth mouldings and a finely carved coat of arms in a cartouche. The well cast brass handles are all original. Good colour and patination through out.
