A good example of a regency period 14" celestial globe by Cary, London. The globe retains the original varnish to the papered gores and is supported by an engraved brass meridian ring. Standing in the original mahogany tripod base with a paper scale compass to the bottom.

The Cary family were well known globe makers in the late 18th - early 19th century.
